  • Pinyin Font Converter - Freeware conversion utility for fonts that display tones in romanized Chinese.
  • Design programs and maintain web pages for the Columbia University Faculty Desktop Support group.

  • 6/97 - Received a full tuition waiver from the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies and a partial tuition waiver from the Inter-University Program for Chinese Language Studies.
  • 6/97 - Awarded the Sasakawa Scholarship for the study of Japanese Language at the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies. This scholarship supports cultural and scholarly interaction between Scandinavia and Japan.
  • 4/97 - Awarded annual "Departmental Distinction" award by the history department of Western Washington University for exemplary class work and high GPA in major.
