Pictures from Stavanger, Norway

I was born in Norway and have lived there on 4 seperate occasions, besides the many summers I have been there usually a month at a time. From my birth until 4 years of age, for half a year while I was in junior high school, about 4 years in high school, and again after graduating from college. Stavanger is pretty much the closest I have to a hometown and I love the city. It has maybe something around 120,000 inhabitants and is the "oil-capital" of Norway. It is on the south west coast and is surrounded by scenic fjords, mountains, and some of the greatest nature I have ever seen, all only a short bus or ferry ride away.

Many of these pictures are from Lysefjord, the long fjord just outside of Stavanger and one that I have a lot of fond memories from.
